Introduction
Poster Sessions in Grenadine are unique sessions which focus on one element for the session: Poster documents. This session type is best used to showcase one or more specific documents.
Poster Session Setup
Configuring a Poster Session is similar to configuring a traditional session in Grenadine. From the Posters table, add and edit your Poster Sessions as usual. Pay special attention to the following configurations in the Poster Session panel:
- Posters Tab – All files uploaded in this tab will appear as the Poster on your Poster’s Virtual Space page.
- Virtual Space Tab – Provides extra interactive options for your Poster on your Event Website.
Who can access Poster Sessions on your Event Website?
The Poster session listing page is public, meaning that anyone can browse your Poster listing. For a Poster’s virtual space page, the default setting requires an attendee to be logged in to access the page. If you want to open your Posters’ virtual space pages to the public, you can configure this setting from the Poster listing page Edit Canvas when logged in as an Organizer. Note that if you do not require login to access a Poster’s virtual space, you cannot collect check-ins for your Poster sessions.
Poster Virtual Space
Utilizing Grenadine’s Virtual Space for Poster sessions is an interactive way to connect to your attendees on your Event Website. Posters on the Grenadine Event Website are the virtual equivalent to a traditional Poster presentation exhibition. Your attendees will browse a listing of Posters as if they are browsing an open floor and ‘walk-up’ to Posters by accessing a Poster’s virtual space. On the Poster’s virtual space page, the Poster document takes the majority of focus on the page. You can also optionally enable interactive features to enhance the virtual Poster experience for your attendees:
- Embedded live video stream powered by your chosen provider: Grenadine Jitsi, Zoom, Youtube Live, and Vimeo
- Live chat
- Q&A
