Grenadine Event Management Software allows you to add reviewers to aid in the submissions process. By adding reviewers, you are able to monitor submissions and their status in the review process. You are also able to see your reviewers’ comment on their assigned submission.
Get Submissions ready to review
Assign a reviewer
To assign a reviewer to submissions, first, you need to go to Calls for submissions > Submissions. Then open the right panel of the submission by clicking on the submission you want to add a reviewer to. On this panel, go to the reviewer’s tab and click Add. Search for the name of the person you want to assign as a reviewer, select them and then save.
Edit Submission State
Before the reviewers assigned to submission can actually start reviewing, you need to update the Submission state to Review. This step will give your reviewers access to the submissions and review them. When you select a submission, on the right panel that opens, you will find on the top right corner of the panel an Edit submission state button. Click on the button and change the step option to review.
Submission Review Process
After the reviewers are assigned to submissions and the submission state has been changed to review, the reviewers will have access to a section on their account when logged in to your event website. They will have to go to this section called My Submissions to Review in order to review submissions.
They can start a review without finishing it and be able to come back later or even just update or change their review of submissions.
The organizer always has access to the reviews that have been made on each submission by going to the submissions and clicking on the reviews tab on the right panel of the submission when opened.
The final step of the reviewing process would be to accept or reject the submission after going through the reviews. The accept and reject buttons are at the top right corner of the submission panel.
Custom Review Form
A nice add-on to the submission review process is the custom review form. This form is basically a survey that you create and then add to the call for submissions in the review form field when you edit the call for submissions. This will allow you to add more questions for the reviewer to answer in the evaluation of the submission.
