Introduction
In Grenadine, you have the option to store your images or paste external images to customize the look of your Event Website and Event Guide Mobile App.
Storing and Using Images in Grenadine
Storing images and using them in Grenadine is a three step process:
Upload the image in the Media Libary
Copy the image
Paste the image in an editor
1. Upload the image
To upload an image, go to Grenadine Admin -> Your event -> Documents -> Media Library and click the Add image button to upload your images. Before uploading, you have the option to edit your images with our image editor.
2. Copy the image
Now that your image has been uploaded to the Media Library, you can view and copy the image to use in your event. Locate the Links column and click the Open in a new tab button.
You can copy the image URL to use in HTML snippets or copy the image itself to use in editors.
3. Paste the image in an editor
You can use the previously copied URL or image in our text editors. From your chosen text editor, proceed through the following depending on your copied element:
Image URL for custom HTML
From the editor, include an HTML snippet with an img attribute. The src value is the copied image URL. For example:
<img src="https://storage.grenadine.co/public.grenadine.co/global/1491/1641/31d19ec067c810f046b4af3cb9403ba9.png" alt="astronaut floating in space">
Image for direct copy & paste
You can simply right-click and paste a copied image from your clipboard into Grenadine’s text editors. You can adjust the image size and placement according to your needs.
Quick Tip: If you only need to display images and do not need to access them from Media Library, you can upload an image directly to the editor from your local machine.
Using External Images in Grenadine
Using external images in Grenadine’s text editors is as simple as copy and pasting! Simply copy an image from an external, public source and paste the image into an editor. You can adjust the image size and placement according to your needs.
